Since being admitted to the California State Bar in 1990, James has practiced law in both San Joaquin County and Stanislaus County.
Between 1990 and 2006, James worked in Modesto as a business lawyer, civil litigator, and in-house legal counsel where his practice areas included business law, real estate law, and civil litigation.
Between 2006 and 2019, James was a criminal prosecutor in the Real Estate Fraud Unit of the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office in Stockton where he was responsible for prosecuting defendants who committed real estate fraud crimes including forgery, embezzlement, mortgage fraud, and elder financial abuse.
Since starting his own law firm in 2019, James has been committed to providing competent and ethical legal representation for his clients.
